Hi guys I currently have 2 unmatched gtx660s in sli in my machine. Someone has offered to buy one of the cards and I would have to sell the other and have £100 I have that I could add so looking around £300 for a new card.

Is there anything for £300 that is comparable to my 660's or is it worth just sticking with those?

I play at 1920x1200 and have a [email protected] with 8gig ram.

R9 290 or GTX 780 would be a decent upgrade from those two cards, prob set you back around £350 though. Other cards below those wouldn't really be upgrade tbh, if you have the upgrade itch sell yours and I would just grab the best value R9 290 or GTX 780 you can find.

290/780 are a sidegrade at best, but it does leave the option of sli/xfire later. Made the switch recently from sli 670's to a 780.

Vram count was what swung it for me, my max fps are down a bit but minimum and average are similar. And no worries about ram.

I can get 1189/3305 stable. The 670's would do 1267/1228 core, 7204 memory. That was +80/+600 as the second card was only capable of that. The first one ran +130/+760 when used by itself.
