Worthwhile upgrade - R9 290 oc to 980ti? Solved!

Morning all,

I've been toying with the idea of this for a while due to the 980ti prices in the member's market which make it rather tempting, combined with the ability to then sell my current R9 290 oc Gigabyte Windforce for a few bob.

Would it be a noticeable upgrade to go from my current to a 980ti of some description? Only air cooling and I won't be overclocking it myself.

My primary games are:

ARMA 3
Day of Infamy
CSGO
Rising Storm 2 Vietnam (whenever that becomes available)
Playerunknown's Battlegrounds (whenever that gets cheaper)

God aye, with the 980Ti you'll be seeing 30-40% performance increase, or more over a 290.

Thank you for that - I didn't even bother with those I they so often seem a bit academic rather than real world...but not so with that comparison! Kind of a no point thread really after that. Cheers!
