Worthwhile upgrade?

I would say not. You would barely notice the difference in speed. If you can sell your 3500 for a reasonable price then go for it, but i wouldnt even bother. Save up for future upgrades.

id say yes if your happy staying with single core, you can sell the 3500 for atleast 35-40 on trading site, the 4000+ has 1meg cache which is noticable when going from 512k, and hopefully the 4000+ will be a decent overclocker, mine will go to ~3ghz

Luck of the draw though, went from a venice 3200 to a 4000 which i grabbed for £60, its nice at 2.7 anything above with any volts is a no-no for mine.

CABGE stepping... :( cabbage i know :(

Still 2.7 with the 1mb cache is better the venice @ 2.4 and 2.5, and £60 is less then i paid for my venice.... :(
