worthwhile upgrade?

i've got a laptop with a pentium m 1.4ghz processor with 1mb cache and i've heard that its possible to swap this out for a processor that is up to 2.0ghz with 2mb cache - codename 'dothan'. i've seen the 1.7ghz versions of these chips go s/h for about £25. question is this: is it a worthwhile upgrade? cheers.

edit: bear in mind that i've also got a gig of memory in there, and an 80gb 7200rpm hard drive too.

if you could get a 2ghz chip cheap enough i would upgrade but bear in mind that it will run a lot hotter so you would have to check the cooling is up to the job
