My graphics card has just died and im in need of a new one and wondering if its worth upgrading anything else at the same time heres my current spec

Antec Black Fusion V2 MATX MediaCenter Case - 430W PSU

Intel Pentium Dual Core E2220 2.4GHz Overclocked @ 3ghz

Gigabyte GA-G31M-S2L iG31 Socket 775 mATX

OCZ 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2 800MHz/PC2-6400 Platinum XTC Memory Kit CL4 2.1V

8800gt 512mb (now dead)

Its been 3 years since i looked into pc parts so have no idea whats hot or not nowadays.

Got around £250 to spend upgrading, what would you recommend i did?

This might be a bit over £250, but it will worth it:

The power consumption for both the CPU and graphic card are roughly the same as what you got at the moment, so your existing 430W PSU should handle it fine.

The 6850 is roughly twice the speed of the 8800GT, and the i3 2100 is roughly 3-4 times the speed of the E2200 in terms of gaming performance.

But another question is...do you already have a copy of Windows 7 which you can reuse on this new motherboard?
