Worthwhile upgrading CPU/mbd?

Been a while since I've looked at CPU's or motherboards, and I currrently have an i5-2500K 3.30GHz LGA1155 (Sandybridge) at stock speed in an EVGA Intel Z68 SLI Micro ATX mbd. I also have 8GB of Corsair XMS3.

I've just purchased a new GTX 670, but I'm wondering if I need to consider upgrading my CPU and mbd also? I don't want to spend money on something that isn't going to give me a noticeable improvement, so just wondered if it's something even worth considering at this stage, or if I should just stick with what I've got?

OC it now :)

I would start with 1.3V and 4.4Ghz (44x100)
If it works you can raise the clock to 4.5 or lower the voltage.
If it doesn't work, lower the clock to 4.2 and try again.
