Worthy Upgrade??

Hey,

Not completley clued up on the technology scene at the mo. Looking for a bit of advice. If anyone could help then that would be sweet as a nut.

I play at 1680 x 1050 by the way before anyone asks... Also looking to play some new games that are going to be coming through over the next year. MOH, BF3 etc etc

This is the mobo i have at the mo which was bought as a replacement for my Asus.

How would a Q8300 and a 5750 sound? Selling my old parts will probs get me £100 i think not sure on that one really!

So upgrade total will stand at about £100.....anyone think i'm an idiot??

Youd be much better getting a 768mb 460, which costs about 120 vs the 90 for a 5750, if you can afford it

So yes I'd say its a worthy upgrade all in all

A 768mb GTX460 would be the better buy if budget allows for sure. It will outperform a 5750 for sure.

Ah yeah a 460 is far better, worth the extra £40 definatley!

As above, get the 768 460 and you'll have a very nice setup there
