ok,i got a new mobo and thought fresh windows install.xp 32 and vista 32 dual boot.3dmark06 with xp http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=6070897 and with vista http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=6075264 same settings.;2000 points difference .what,s that all about.........

If your Vista install is fresh, then it'll be indexing and the like. Give it time to settle down, and read up on how it works
