Would a 1000w PSU be enough?

It's still 90% or higher across the entire range though, so it's not like it makes a huge difference.

My post said it was most efficient at around 60% load, which what you linked to agrees with.

Heres a Corsair bell curve showing the same thing for another PSU.

The PSU spins up for half a second then stops. Then to try again i have to remove the power cable for about 5 seconds, but it just does the same thing.

I don't have it back yet as I have requested that they test the psu in a higher spec pc as i assume that they tested it on some bog standard setup.

I really can't figure out why it won't work but mine works fine. At first I thought it may be shorting out, but then why isn't Corsair
