Would a 350w like antec vp350 struggle with setup

Going from gpu thread I recently brought this spec:

Asus p5q deluxe
c2d e8400 3ghz
4gb ddr2
2xhd4850 in xfire(sort of)
Corsair hx 1000w

Now in that thread I asked about 3 types of gpu versions plus better overall types and one off topic suggestion was to upgrade everything but the psu due to what it is.

Now in a away I made it clear I could buy high components but not realistically due to the 'money not growing on trees' phase, but it has given me something to think about, the upgrade certain bits part that is and so I was toying with an idea.

Keep my psu obviously and replace it, possible in this case(antec type, huge top fan), all this setup is in, with something substantial and keep one hd4850 in single mode(got a gts 250 but requires twin 6 pin) and having owned one till I gave it my missus, I know that the vp350 has a 6 pin connection and is pretty decent for what it is or look at something else that also won't break the bank as its to sell on.

Other than some scratches and marks the antec case is pretty nice, so could always buy a cheap atx case to make a sellable gaming as such computer.

Here is my system just for the sake of showing it while not the best of pics lol.

Sorry about images if they too big I'm using my phone as I'm away for weekend and was going to try sort this before I head home like.

Thanks for replies.

Not that I've come across, mean I haven't had time to constantly use it yet, but no issues so far. Not that xfire is setup up properly it seems and has 1 more bridge than I read you ever need Unless 3 way(like this board supports) to give the psu a proper usage.

I've got a 6670, but what I read the 4850 is better just lacks hdmi and dx11 oh and in this case as well lacks 512mb(6670 1gb) so I suppose something dx11 that's better than both and supports xfire.

I've got day off today so I'm going to have a play around with it.

While I made this thread and my other one I did think maybe roughing it out as I did pay 70 for it all lol and either keeping the 4850(s) and getting a dvi/hdmi adapter and look into a quad as a support list says anything from 6300?? To 9 series or extreme or just replace the gpus and put the dual core to test and possible overlock it when I figure that out as I attempted oc other day and it failed ha, so default settings..

I just need to know if I do end up changing board(keep the bridges ha) that a 350 antec as the bare minimum will power it plus one of the cards(not 6670) if I haven't sold them.

A VP350 should be fine to power that, but my suggestion if you want to see an overall improvement is to not do this, I would suggest getting soemthing like a Radeon R7 360 Gaming 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card for around £70-£80 and you would see a massive improvement over your current setup even with a C2D.

And I'm the Antec rep, I'd rather be honest and lose a sale than you not get the best from your PC.

Now, THAT is customer service.
