The FAQ has turned up something interesting....
"What most people generally have is a single cable for their PC speakers, and generally only have the one connection. You have a couple of options. If you have your PC on all the time when you're playing on your Xbox, then you can connect the 360 to the Line-In on your PC soundcard and play the Xbox 360 sound via your PC. "
Does this mean.... (fingers crossed)....
That if the PC is on, I can plug my 360 sound cable into the Sound Card and get sound from my headset as that is also plugged into the Sound Card??
Or am I going along the wrong lines here?
If correct I am tempted to turn my back on Sony an get the:
279 bundle from Game (Premium with Darkness & FORZA 2)
- £20 game voucher
- £25 PS2 trade in
- couple of quid I get for other games
= £220
Leaves me to add either some essential hardware i.e. play and charge kit and maybe GOW / Dead Rising as 2nd hand - in and around 300 quid for the lot
