would run that setup fine, should be ok for a while, all depends on the gfx card maufacturers and them making sure they dont start to use silly amounts of power again.

For example, would the psu cope with a 8800gtx, cos they are power hungry?? I was going to buy the 620watt psu thats on the list but if the 520 version will cope ok, I then will have £25 spare for a WD 80 or 160gb hdd for my windows drive. Then I can use my old WD 500gb drive for storage,mp3s and games.

Is it a good idea to have 2 drives, a windows drive and a storage drive? cos atm I have my 500gb drive split in 2.

Easily fine on the PSU front. I do prefer to have more than one hard drive and I think it makes sense for many to have Windows on a separate disk to some or most of their data if they can but it isn't vital.

it will handle the gtx fine.

i run a windows hd and storage, then just format the windows hd when a reinstall is done, as an obvious reminder just cos you have the storage disk doesnt mean you shouldnt back up regularly ;)

Generally, for a normal system with 1 GFX card 520 is ok. If you have 2 GFX cards then 620 is required.

Not sure about the 'power hungry' 8800gtx though. Sorry.
