I have the following system

AMD Athlon 5200 x2 @3.4guz 13.5 x 252 1.5v can do more but its ok at this speed
Abit KN9 Sli mobo
2gb pc667 memory @ 756mhz 2-2-2-15
XFX Geforce 8800gs 680/1700/900
2x 80gb sata in raid = 150gb
1x 250gb sata backup

I'm planning on getting a 8800gts gcard and moving the 8800gs to the second pcie slot and using it as a dedicated physix card plus i'd be able to use it to convert with badaboom in the games that dont require a physix card and would u think the 8800gs could encode and calculate physix ?

thanks

steve

Yeah 8800GS would be fine for physx - although it probably won't see much use at the moment unless you play one of the select number of games that uses physx.

If all goes well It will be the Zotac 8800gts 512mb with the g92 core, are they the best card to go for right now ? sorry been out of the hardware side of computers for a while and just getting back into the flow.
