Would anyone reccommend Deadspace?

I turned my nose up at it when it came out, but I gave it another go and it's actually really good, barring the controls. The mouse is veeeeeeeeeeeery slow, and the FOV is far too narrow.

you'll probably think its the best (horror) game you've ever played for the first two hours providing you have a good screen/sound

but after that you'll soon realise it just gets too repeatative (like most games they release now days)

You will LOVE dead space if you LOVE screen tearing. Couldn't get past the intro and vsync makes it retarded.

Has been mentioned a few times on these forums before, but - disabling vsync in-game and forcing vsync in gfx drivers = no tearing and 60fps.

On another note, the point of view is a bit odd to start with, but give it a while and you don't notice it (or at least I didn't after a bit).

Great game, and possibly the only one in the last year or so to make me jump in places.

+1.
