Purchase a SanDisk CompactFlash 1 GB EXTREME III for £23.34?

I have a new lens and will probably use my camera more, is this a good card, price etc?

Personally, I think that's a good price!

If you buy from the company that run the website, these also come with a code for Capture One Pro LE. Even better!

If it's a reputable retailer than that's a good deal, if you're not sure of the source (ie an auction) chances are it's a fake.

Not an a auction and possibly one of the largest E tailors in the world. :)

right if its the one i think it is that ive just found id be careful as it isnt the store selling it, it's on their marketplace so it's someone else selling it through their website and at that price its gonna be a fake

you shouldnt be able to buy genuine ones for less than £35 and thats a bargain.

Hmm how can you tell if it is a fake card?

The main giveaway is that all the genuine cards have a unique serial number printed on the card, this is missing from the fakes.

There was a big thread on here a while back but it may have been pruned, there was a good link in there which had side by side shots of genuine and fake cards.

EDIT: Nope, still alive here

Cheers for that, just recived an Email from the place saying I had ordered the card, I didn't even realise i had.

I have sent the seller an Email cancelling the order I hope it does not turn into a pain in the ass. :(

I want to cry. :(

If it is from the etailer that i think it is... rain forests and the like.. :) Then i am 99.9% sure that it's not a fake and go ahead with your order.

If it were i doubt there would be any issue in getting a paid return refund.

My only worry and the reason I cancelled the order (apart from not knowing that I did order it) was that it isn't from them, as mentioned earlier it its from an outside trader which to me does not carry the same feeling of security as ordering from the big e-tailor.

Just as a follow-up, the marketplace trader in question, if it's the one I saw, is listed no the SanDisk website as an authorised reseller........

Always worth a quick look.
