Long story short. I'm just finished my build just waiting on my PSU, but i want to get this thing up and running.

Anyway would a Seasonic X-Series 750w be enough for the following until my new PSU arrives

i7-3930K
X79 mobo
32 Gb ram
intel 520 ssd 240gb
Asus xonar sound card
Pump and 9 fans
.
.
...and 480SLI :(

Well what ya think im not feeling very confident right now

Seasonics PSU's genereally speaking are quite reliable and efficient so you should be fine. Run everything strictly at stock and you will be fine. There are people on here who run similar systems with 750w's.

You certainly don't want to be overclocking anything until you receive your replacement - just to be safe.

750W will be more than ample as it the Amps on the 12V which you really need to be concerned with. Seasonic PSU's are the best of the lot and will run that rig Overclocked.

Thanks for the replies guys. Its the 480sli i was concerned about.
I wad certain i read that the mininum was 850w for480sli?

But ill go with you guys it makes sense.

Sry for spelling and bad english jogging while typing on phone lol

Thanks for the link that's very helpful. Might not even bother with a bigger PSU if this works out ok. Was going to have to do a bit of modding to fit the bigger PSU anyway
