well thinking of getting a 4800x2 to replace 3800x2 as a last stop gap for this year.Would i notice a good difference in things wouldnt cost much difference once sold 3800 .Cpu is a AMD Athlon 64 X2 4800+ (2.5GHz) Socket AM2 Energy Efficient L2 1MB (2x512KB) Cache are these better than windsor cores.Not oc it just want abit of a boost so can play games decent for rest of year.will this need a newer bios cause its a newer core?Upto fx range already in my bios but not the newer versions 5000 up wards.Seen it for 80 quid so would only be like 40 quidish difference.
