Would I see a bottleneck using a 5850 with a E5300? I game at 1920x1080 (4GB RAM also)

Plus would using a corsair 450W be enough? (E5300 is only at 3.12GHz)

Some games you may see a bottleneck, games like GTA4 and LFD2, but the majority should run fine.

450 watt PSU by corsair should be OK, if you feel the need to OC the CPU and GPU, I would suggest a PSU upgrade.

I'll be playing Batman, the witcher, Grid and many others. But I've been holding off as they don't run as well as I'd like to with a 4850. I like having zero aliasing. :p

I don't think I'll be OC'n the GPU and quite happy with my CPU too - to be honest.
 
Same question would i see a big bottleneck but on a 5970 with my cpu a E6850 3Ghz. I do plan on upgrading my cpu, motherboard and memory about october time so it wont be an issue.
 
I would say yes, multi-GPU setups like the 5970 like to have a top CPU to push them so the more Ghz the better, the sooner you upgrade the better.
 
Yeah, by then ATI should have some new cards out and there is NV of course, it's a while to go to October so it's tough decision, of course you will see a massive performance increase going with a 5970, just you wont see its full potential until you upgrade or even OC your CPU.

If i was to get this card, i would keep it for at least two years so its not like it would be wasted even on my system. Heres my spec:

e6850
4gb ram
128gb SSD
1T samsung hard drive
1920x1200 res
