...if I asked how I'd go about recording a radio programme being streamed through my browser into a file that I could listen to again in the future?

Or would that have wider implications for all sorts of other copyright infringement, thus making my seemingly innocent request a complete non-starter?

Anyone able to shed some light on my question, either from the point of view of it being allowed or a possible solution to my problem?

Back in the days when I used to use my PC, Audacity is what I used. Records whatever noise the computer is making... so just had to make sure MSN was muted.

It would depend what you plan on using it for, i.e. - education purposes etc.
It's a spoken-word radio show that I'll be using for personal education purposes and I have no intention to distribute further.

Audio Hijack :)
Now that looks exactly what I'm after.

Would it be sensible to purchase Fission at the same time?

EDIT: The reason I ask about Fission is that I've got about 3,000 records that I need to digitise and I need a solution that will allow me to easily and quickly get them onto my Mac.
