Going from my T.R.U.E revC with 2X120mm sickleflows 2000rpm p/p.... to a thermalright Silver arrow?

check out the other silve arrow threads matey, seems to be pretty highly thought of.

is the 2600 overclocked, and what sort of temps does the true give ?

ambient about 20 degrees cpu clocked to 4.5 idle 25 to 29 load 55 to 60

Is your CPU too hot? If not, then no it's probably not worth it. The SA might be slightly better but I believe the TRUE is still a good cooler.

TRUE is still a good cooler for SB, used it in a 2600K 4.7Ghz overclock with vcore at 1.35v and it IBT'ed cpu at 76C in ambients of around 26C. Fans weren't anything special either - Nexus orange case fans in push pull.. Case was an Antec 900 with all fans set to low. The money spent for the potential (if ANY) Mhz extra and minor cooling advantage is not worth it, rather back it down 100MHz or with less vcore to be honest if temps are getting wild.

im ok with the temps but hey the cooler the cpu runs the better right??but if the difference aint that much then ill stick to what i have
