hi, got a 9800GTX+ for xmas and its a really nice card, but recently got a P5Q-E mobo which supports xfire (not sli :() so was wondering, would it be worth upgrading to a HD5770 with the intention of finally xfire, or using my 9800gtx+ for physx (if thats even possible), or is there not going much gains over just using the 9800gtx+?

From what I've seen it's not a huge difference between the 5850 and 5870 but that is based on high res, max setting benchmarks on crysis and some other games so it's not like you'd expect and extra 20 frames on games like that. I think it's around 15% more powerful.

but what about the 5770/5750?

full HD res (1080p) if pos (most of the games i play run at this fine with my 9800GTX+).
so you can xfire 2 different ATI cards they dont need to be the same?
is it possible to run 3 cards in xfire, as in 3xHD4650?
if i was to get 2 HD5770 cards and xfire, that would cost £200-£250ish would that give better performance than buying a single card for £200-£250?
