As the time of ordering my new build approches, I need to get some stuff in motion and set in stone.
To start of guys, I have looked around, too see what I want and to see what others have done some lovely machines out there. I m here to get suggestions on cases under £160 as to be fair I like quite a few cases out there. So if you have a case suggestion I m all ears...However this is not the main reason why i m writting this at silly o clock
Im currently looking at the Fractal Design Defines XL, its looks big enough for what i want, and I like the design of it plus the chambers is what I ideally want..and it does not cost the earth. it looks easiest to work with, as the panels are clean. unlike the 650D( the top has a mesh which i need to somehow replace in order to fit a Tri rad) also I dealt I would get a dual rad in without losing the HDD bays
My plans for this, I m going to put a Tri rad at the top and a daul at the bottom, taking the HDD cages out would be easy enough. Need alone cutting the hole for the Rad grill however, how much room does a fractal have between the top of the mobo and the top of the case give or take 1mm or 2? As this would have a impact one what Rad I buy.
