Would my Q6600 bottleneck a 5770

Hello there!
I was just wondering if a Q6600 @ 2.4ghz (stock) would bottleneck a HD 5770 at all if I were to buy one.
I'm guessing you guys have a lot more knowledge on this kind of stuff than me, so I thought i'd just ask

Think the 5770 would be much of an upgrade from my 9800gt?
Just i'm not sure whether to shell out £80 for it since i'll want to play some of the newer games coming out (batman AC, bioshock infinity etc.) on at least low or mid.

It'll be good for DX11 if that's what your after, if you can up your budget by about £40-50 you could buy a much more capable card.

I hope it's not a G0 stepping which would make it even worse!!

shell out for a 5850.

the difference will be quite a bit and you wont have any trouble playing your games.
