Would OCUK be able to stock this HDD gadget?

That looks a good idea.
I use a kit as posted here to get stuff from drives, but I like the idea of that caddy.
I've got a similar cable setup on my desk, looks a right dog's dinner mess of cables. This docking thing looks very neat and tidy :)

Already been suggested in the Hard Drives forum in this thread and I think it may have been suggested in the Product Suggestions forum also. :)
Damn, wasn't sure to look in the specific hdd thread, my bad, sowwy.

Yeah quite cool. I had basically the same thing for a while, made out of bit's of wood and rusty nails with a dismantled IDE->USB adaptor.

Theres a UK stockist of these now! £22.50, seems like a good deal but as mentioned eSata would be nice...

"Hmm, how will will make these deviced look 'trendy' and 'funky' to todays modern youth?"

"Oh, I know, say that it loads cartridges like that Sony NES Box thing that those cool kids played with when I was younger, that will make it totally 'rad', yeah?"

But a nice idea, especially for people who need to either image or recover lots of drives....

It's a great idea but it's not worth more than £10 handy for all of us with 6 or so ide drives just sitting in drawers doing nothing.
But you could probably open your case up and install the hard drives and transfer what you need and remove close the case 2x quicker than using this widget.
