can anyone reccomend a decent Graphics Card AND Monitor 19" W/S
I will be using it mainly for reading/writing.
so crystal clear text is my no 1 priority.
I will also be watching DVDs...and upgrade to Windows Vista Aero

my PC.......AMD 64x2 Dual core Processor 3800+
2.01 GHz 1.93 GB of RAM & Motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-M61VME-S2

For vista aero you'll need 128MB of RAM on the graphics card, and a dx9 card. A 6200 or 7300 should be fine. Can't really help with the monitor, but I have heard Belinea is good, so maybe this one?

I haven't used belinea myself but I know from experience Samsung/BenQ are decent brands. This BenQ one looks pretty good - might even get that free wallpaper

I would go for the cheapest X1950 combined with ViewSonic’s VX1935wm wide-screen monitor - great combo!
