Hello
So I've just finished my third build and fortunately everything worked first time with no issues.
Im passing my old rig on to someone else but it's not really up to the task of gaming lately and I was hoping I could simply pop a new graphics card in to fix the problem? The CPU is very basic however, will this bottleneck any GPU upgrade?
Specs:
Cooler Master Silent Pro Modular 700W '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply
MSI Z77A-GD55 Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard
Intel Core i3-2120 3.30GHz (Sandybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor - Retail
MSI HD 6850 OC 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit
Samsung 840 EVO 120GB 2.5 inch Basic SATA Solid State Drive
If I add in a GTX 960 do you think we'll be able to squeeze a couple more years low-mid level gaming out of this?
Thanks
