would there be a noticeable decrease in performance?

would there be a noticeable decrease in performance if i used a micro sd to memory stick duo(use a 16gb micro sd) compared with the offical sony memory stick?(For my psp)
The only reason why i want to know just incase i get any slow down while downloading or playing a game.
