Would this be able to run modern games on high?

LOL REMOVE THE COMPETITOR!! This is OcUK you crazy!! You cant just go linking to rival companies!

InstaBan!

other than your motherboard being for an "AM2" processor (like an AMD Athlon X2) and your processor being a LGA 775, it's pretty good.

i'd change the CPU cooler to an Arctic Cooling "Freezer 7 Pro" because they're time tested and very good, and remember that you'll need an LGA 775 motherboard :)

I only quickly pulled this together, i have about a £410 budget i can get it from a rival website for a lot cheaper

Read the faq's or your stay here will be very short!!

Don't get that cooler. It's little better than the stock Intel cooler. Go for the better Akasa AK-965 instead.

crysis on high at 1680x1050 is possible on that specs, nevertheless if you're thinking of adding full AA and AF your card will start struggling. And it's not due to its lack of power, but due the really poor coding of the game, as other people said.

Your General Detail/Shadows/Effects would probably be on high, maybe the odd Medium (Dont know how detailed Crysis' gfx setting go into, never played it), but AA/AF wont be maxed out.

As said twice crysis is a badly scripted game, hency why I've never bothered personally, but gameplay is some what lack luster.

You may also be pushing things on that size'a screen too. But just go with a smaller resolution than the screen can handle max'd.

Thanks for all the help, i might build this around march when all the new parts come out.

I find this pc very good for about £420 with a £60 case.
