Hi, dont know if you lot remember but I had a slight mishap when a truck cut me up on the roundabout (which im still get to win over on the insurance as he was at fault) anyway iv managed to hook the hanging bumper back on, however there is a slight gap between the headlamp and the bumper.

Its not effecting anything like headlamp alignment as its the bumper has a broken joint by this point, but its secure, not flapping or moving in anyway, its just a slight gap. Would this fail the MOT do you think?

Sorry about the pic, the sun was shining so couldnt really get a good picture of it.

Thanks all :)

So long as the lamp is aligned that will pass. The tester will probably adjust the alignment and only if he can't get it right will he fail it.

That will pass fine.

When my old Peugeot 205 had a 3cm hole and a long crack in the rear bumper which also made it hang slightly back at the start of 2008, it still passed the MOT but rear bumper was noted on the advisory notice as "slight damage to rear bumper"
