I would like one so I can turn off and on easily , so I have found this that can be plugged into a mains socket. I could have the lead comming out of a pci back plate or something like that?

My pc is in my bedroom, I cant be doing with lights at night, so these mains power LED strips look ideal as I can switch them off easily at night, as I was just going to get a more see through glass panel cut because you cant see through the glass at all, unless you have a torch at hand.

Whats the difference from controlling the leds from your pc or the wall?

The only other LED strips I have come across that you can switch off, are ones with the controls on a pci backplate, and to get to the rear of my pc every night and morning to turn on/off the LEDs will be a right pain.

I have 3way mains sockets with switches next to my knees under my desk, that Ive secured to the side of the desk to run my external hdds from. So I can use
3way to run the LED strip from too. So I just have to feel by my knee for the LED on/off switch.

As I am in a wheelchair I try to make things as easy as possible for myself.

Ah right,, they plug directly into the motherboard and Im guessing 0% in speedfan is off and 100% is on fully bright.. I looked up the darkside led strips earlier today and they come in a max length of 12", I was thinking of having a strip of white LED's all the way around the inside where the glass sits on the case......I will see if there are others that run off the motherboard headers.

Sorry Bone9 I didn't understand what your were meaning.
