should be fine your pump has female 1/4 fittings as standard, so what you screw into them should have an o ring on them as in the barbs or the compressions you buy but its not a bad idea to have a few spares floating round for use anyway

oh and yes biff if its touching the case i can imagine its noisey

any piece of foam will do mate tbh its just to cushion the pump the pump itself isntr noissy but if its resting against the sace itll vibrate thats all
