Would this void my warranty?

Got a car new from Renault in March, so it's still under warranty.

Last week a National Grid van hit it whilst it was parked, cracking and scratching the front left bumper, denting the door a little and knocking the wing mirror off.

The chap took full responsibility and today I've received confirmation from his insurers. Having them sort out the repairs at their chosen garage, would this void my warranty with Renault?

Not really had to deal with any insurance claims before so any help would be great, cheers.

I didn't read the thread properly. But my point is still valid.

Anyway OP, since you are not at fault you can get it repaired from a garage of your choice.

I'm not letting them do anything yet, only got the letter this morning and wanted some advice first, as on the letter it stated 'ring us now to get your car booked into one of our approved repairers'

So I'll tell them I want to get it done at Renault and not risk the warranty.

Thanks for your quick input chaps.

Yup - they are at fault, so any ideas they have of using "Bodget and Scarper" around the back of Carpet Right, well they can forget it.

Tell them that you will be wanting to go for repairs via a Renault main dealer.

who is their chosen garage ?

The other person is at fault so just make sure you agree to one that is approved by renault.
