Would this work as a new build?

Hi I'm nervously going to attempt my first new build. This would be a gaming system, but will also be used as an all purpose pc.

I'm thinking of these components:

Motherboard Asus P5K - E/WIFI
Case Antec P182
Power Supply Antec TP3-650
CPU Intel Q6600
Cooler Tuniq tower 120
Memory Corsair PC2-6400
Hard disc samsung spinpoint 500 mb
CD/DVD samsung sh-s183
Graphics Card Asus EN8800GTX
Operating System Windows Vista HP 64 bit

I may hold off for one of the new graphic cards that are out soon though.

What do you think will this work?

Looks basically fine, how much Ram are you going for? If you are buying a new graphics card relatively soon then it might make sense to pick an EVGA card for the 90 day step-up programme they offer.

The system will work fine, you could hold on but that is always the case . I'd recommend 4GB of ram for vista and just google for some building guides and take your time with it. Its not really that hard to do, gl with it and let us know how it went !
