Would that be ok to use do u think to blast dust away if used outside. Ive seen vids on utube show ppl using things like this but dunno if this is either too strong or too weak or should be fine. Just dont wana waste money on compressed air cos its expensive doesnt last long and isnt that effective really considering the narrow opening of the red straw on em usually. Also whats the chance of static electricity damaging it from one of these?

Looks like it should work ok but kinda wana be sure if i should or not unless theres a cheaper way thats safer quick and doesnt use compressed air cans.

So u reckon if i got one and used it i would damage anything like from static or somit? Or is it only compressors expensive ones that dont damage with static?

My pump has never given any problems with static but then again there is no need to touch any components. I will be ordering the blower as well next week my self

I just use an electric pump for inflatable beds/kayaks/care tires. £15 from Tesco a few years ago and has worked a treat

Same. Got a air bed pump from Argos years back about a tenner I think. Small mains electric and has enough umph to blast air in case (obviously need a ventilated room or outside)and it's quite loud doing so but is a cheap and excellent way I find.

I use it all the time to clean my PC. I had the impression that blowers of this type don't produce any static, only vacuum cleaners but l could be mistaken. You should secure your fans with some tape so that they don't spin any faster than normal since that can damage them.

Well it worked fine, didnt do mb with it tho as was out of the case and was pretty clean really anyhow. But yeah did case outside, used a extension lead and blew all the dust out fine. Thing tho is to do the blower in short bursts as it will overheat if used a lot at once. Also cleaned a gpu tho it needed a cotton bud or tweezers to loosen some dust up first. So yeah was a good quick way to clean cases out.

i have a air compressor which i use for DIY, it was fantatic at clearing out the dust - if you're using any sort of force air I would advise you to tape the fan blades down or hold it by hand so that they dont spin up. the compressed air will force it to spin 2x or 3X times the intended speed and wear something out.
