would a SOLIGOR 2x teleconverter

model C/D4 to fit NIKON

work on a nikon d50

it is listed down as for 35mm slr nikon.


while im asking, woudl old 35mm slr lenses work as well ( I expect the autofocus wouldnt )

You can use the Old AI/AIS lenses with D50/D70/D80 but you won't be able to meter (use external meter), plus the AI/AIS lens is manual therefore you lose autofocus. The D200 allows you to meter with the older lenses.

Never heard of that TC, maybe use Sigma/Kenko? very cheap.
