Hi,
I need to connect my DVR security system up to my wireless router (Sky Sagem) but the dvr is in my bedroom and the modem/router is in the lounge would this work- http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=NW-006-TP - if it would how do I configure it to connect to the wireless network to enable me to view my security camera's over the internet with my iphone please? I know when connecting a laptop we just enter the network key but I do not know how to link together the tp link and the modem/ router, I am so thick when it comes to understanding network stuff sorry. You need an AP that supports bridging. That TPLink one almost certainly won't, purely looking at the price

You could always just connect the swtich the DVR connects to (or it's management NIC depending on th type of DVR) to the router using a boring old Cat5 cable. It's probably the cheapest and most reliable solution.

Just a further note about bridging, I don't think the sky routers support it, it's a feature that certainly doesn't work on the Sky Netgear router (DG834GT).
