First off sorry for two threads in one day, if someone could delete the other one that would be great.
I have been playing with the idea of water cooling my Bitfenix Merc case, I haven't seen it done before so am unsure if it would work.
Here is the rig as it looks today,
That is a gtx 570 in there by the way ( it is kinda hard to tell from the pics) I think with bit of work I could get a 240 and 120 radiators in there. I have spend many months working on the following picture so it is not ok for you to be negative
The red boxes are radiators, 240 in the front and 120 at the back. The front one would require removing of the hdd bays and the bottom 5.25 bay. The case does already have two 120mm fans in there so that shouldn't be much of a problem.
The yellow box would be a single bay res, I can take the blu ray drive out as I have an external writer for my laptop anyway so would not be much loss.
The green box is the pump, not sure on pumps that are in the res as most reviews seem to be quite negative on these.
The blue lines, well I am sure you can guess what these are.
What do you think to this set up? Would it work at all? I would get a bigger case but I am limited on the room i have available in here so would need to be something no bigger than 500*500*240 in size.
Any comments?
