Hi all

I have rig as per sig;

Now would you buy an X48 board to prolong life of Q6600 and maybe one of the new quads, or would you wait for X58 and purchase the new CPU sometime next year ?????

I am already thinking of new graphics (release in june) with possibly going Xfire.

I would only buy a new board if the old one was broke, or i needed it for a new chip.

Indeed, it's not like changing your board will get the q6600 doing 5.4GHz.

As above. If anything I would personally get another 2Gb of ram and go 64bit

Thanks for the replies gents, I think I will stick with current rig (for now). I believe my son wants me to go WC so he can have my rig !!!
