Would you class this as a stable O/C?

Hi,

I have just fitted the EK Supreme HF 240 watercooling kit and clocked my i7 2600k to 5Ghz

I ran Intel Burn test on very high for 40 loops, and then prime blend for 8 hours, no problems.

Temps are 68,75,75,74

Do you think this is enough testing to class as stable?

I would go with yes, unfortunately the only real way is to start using the machine and see how you get on.

I tend to run Prime for 2 hrs and if thats passes, I class it as stable!

prefer ibt stable over prime, though using both is a good idea. I've had prime stable overclocks and then bsod after 5 ibt runs. I think you should be safe enough to class that as stable.

temps look good too, what voltage are you using out of curiosity?

I've had 50 runs ibt, 8 hours prome bsod running folding@home, so that's my stability testing. it hammers a CPU more than anything else.

the hottest I'm comefortable with is about 80c, though my stress high is 72c, and gaming/encoding high is usually around 50c.

that's a really nice voltage for 5ghz!
