Would you do it?

So Ive been thinking of upgrading my current system when Ivy bridge comes out to the following..

i5 3570K
Gigabyte Z77X-D3H Intel Z77
Corsair Hydro H60

and re-using my old components to complete the built.

8GB Ripjaws 1600Mhz CL7 (4x2gb sticks)
MSI Frozr III 6950 OC 2GB (Maybe Xfire in the future)
2x Vertex 2E 60Gb SSD (currently not in raid but will raid them)
Asus Xonar D1

Do you guys think it will be really be worth it?

Who knows. The NDA is still up on Ivybridge isn't it? How can anyone recommend when there isn't any kind of review up yet.

Ivy bridge is nothing too impressive if you ask me. It's no better than Sandy bridge. I'd wait for Haswell if I were you.

I would just get an i5-2500k when IB comes out as the SB prices will drop.

I agree with IvanDobskey... There is about a 5-15% increase in performance, but nothing too brilliant to warrant a change from SB to IB.

Get the Z77 board for future upgrades but stick a i5 SB in it and you will be more than happy!
