Would You Get an Oil Change?

Hi Guys

I have a 2005 Ford Focus Diesel 2.0 TDCi. The oil was last changed two years ago, since when I've done 2,000 miles. Do you think I should get an oil change done?

If mileage is not a factor, how long does oil stay "good" for?

I think it's the chemical additives that go off, and not the ex-dinosaur organic matter.

Do you find the clutch very heavy in your car? Mine is, to the extent that if I'm in traffic for half a mile, my leg starts to ache. However, I'm not sure whether it's normal for the car, or related to wear. I don't want to spend the money to change it anyway.
