Would YOU hit a man with glasses?

I was debating this with a friend a couple of days ago.

I am of the firm opinion, that if Mr A was wearing glasses and started on me for no reason whatsoever, i would have no qualms about hitting him if he was wearing glasses. If he's starting stuff, then it's his own fault.

My mate on the other hand, disagrees.

What do you think?

If he is threatening me, then I would smack him regardless of whether he had glasses or not. I don't think glasses have the right to give you immunity from being lumped.

No need to hit him in the head, a well put punch in his abs and he is out of breath and then you can either run or bead him up a litle bit more.

If I was gonna punch a dude, he's got it coming anyway.

Whether he wears glasses or not, if I'm angry enough to hit someone I'm not about to care whether they're wearing glasses.

If a man who wears glass's starts a fight then i see no problem with defending your self, just give him a slap so the glass's come off then a fat lip to shut them up

I'd hit him, if he deserved it tho, have to think about it more, but if someone full on deserved it, its only fair.

After reading that dont punch glass thread tho, might be a bit more conservative around people with really bad eyes that walk around with massive panes of glass on their nose
