I actualy used a qoute from Star wars and it applies to Boris Johnson who should be concentrating on problems at home or closer to home, not getting Britain involved in the USA's spats with Russia and China!!

Ye which is bad.
You have to be active on a world stage to do well in the long run. You can't just sit about and wait or else you end up screwed. Proactiveness is important.
Also you say we shouldn't get involed but Russia has used chemical and radiological weapons in the UK in the last decade.
Harming uk citizens in the process not sure you can say we're not involved
If you were at a site with launch capability, the first and last thing you'd know about an attack is a blinding flash.

Will somebody tell Putun, Biden and Jinping that unlike the PC game DEFCON, you can't walk away from it or start up another game after the counter reaches the inevitable DEFCON 1 and the nukes start flying around in reality
(It's a real game available on STEAM and I've played it)..

For much of the cold war the USSR planned on surviving nuclear war (at least some fraction of the population, military and government) and re-emerging after, the West largely planned for nothing beyond the onset of nuclear exchanges (ignoring some countries like Switzerland).

Would Overclockers forum be affected ?
I was assuming that there would be some kind of radar/satellite detection that would trigger an alarm if anyone set off a nuke anywhere in the world. So as it was flying over I'd press our nuke against them.

If the politicians complained about it being barbaric, I'd make them explain, LIVE on air, why millions of innocent people shpuld die as a result of decades old rivalries (you know USA and Russia have been dying to have a go at eachother for years).
