That’s a pint that’s been pulled half way then set aside - staff probably began pouring it for another punter then realised it was the wrong type, stopped pouring and set it aside (rather than binning it) It’s then been ‘topped’ up, however long later, to produce that monstrosity.

Is that kind of thing common in some places? Some pints do taste absolutely dreadful sometimes, probably beer quality/lines, God knows what else.
