Black light is otherwise perfect it would seem, just this faint black bar that spans the width of my monitor. What what you guys do?

Difficult to see when gaming, can only see on pure blue screen like this.

34" ultra wide
 
Could you elaborate what you mean by faint black bar? I can't see anything wrong on the image...? At least not anything that wouldn't be caused by image compression or camera capture limitations, etc.

Aah, nvm. Keeping the image un-zoomed helps to see it.

Sure, just look at the very top of the screen and you will see a completely straight faint stripe going across the top of the display.
 
Yeah, noticed it myself, just now. Not sure how much the camera settings affect the image, so one clarification:
Is it indeed so that the "edge" is lighter, then faint darker stripe, then lighter image again? And are the lighter areas the same brightness, or are they different, as well?

If I understand you correctly, the screen uniformity is good, there is no BLB except for this stripe. The strike is slightly darker than the background.
