Would you swap a TV for one dead pixel?

I've got a 42" LG C2. I use it mainly as a monitor.

Was gutted to notice a dead pixel centre left. Tried reviving it with no joy.

Used it for a couple of days but I kept noticing it and it was genuinely annoying me, especially in flight sims.

Asked the supplier what my options were and they said I could swap it.

Now I've been told I can have a new one I'm not massively bothered by it anymore but I am concerned that it appeared and more could maybe arrive.

Otherwise the panel is amazing, no banding etc.

Would you swap it or not? It's an hour round drive and I could potentially end up with a worse panel.

Dayum I would have spotted this if someone else had have posted!!!....

No I wouldn't swap a TV for one dead pixel but I would (and just have) swapped a tv that's panel has a dead pixel for one that doesn't have a dead pixel.

So glad I did, not only is that stupidly annoying black dot gone, this one has been put together better (last bezel wasn't joined up brilliantly) and I swear the screen seems a tiny bit brighter and cleaner.

Cheers for the engouragement.

It was very painless and richer sounds were great. 45 mins of my life and 20 miles of fuel worth it for sure (it's 15 mins each way when the traffic's clear actually).

Missus couldn't quite grasp it until I asked her if she'd mind me putting a black biro dot in the middle of the white wall facing the bed.
