Would you swap an Acer XR341 75Hz IPS for a Samsung CF791 100Hz Quantum dot VA?

So I'm building my kids a gaming PC and the Mrs suggested that I get a new monitor and mount my current Acer XR341 to their bedroom wall. I like the idea of having a slightly faster 3440x1440 freesync curved panel as I recently acquired a Vega 64 which is actually wasted in the majority of games I play given the max refresh in 75Hz, but the only one available seems to be the Samsung CF791 which is 100Hz. Is this really an upgrade though? Does the quantum dot tech offset the issues with the VA panel compared to IPS? What do you guys think? I know those of you with a XR341 monitor will be totally in love with it but thinking with your head rather than heart, if you were offered a Samsung CF791 as a straight swap would you take it?

Also, can anyone confirm if the freesync flickering issues were indeed resolved as claimed in the recent driver updates?

I have the Samsung cf791 and it is a fantastic monitor, no doubt about it. No buyers remorse whatsoever.

But bear in mind it is a VA panel which is not as fast pixel response as an ips. I do occasionally in certain scenarios notice a bit of motion blur.

On the other hand, the colours are fantastic, as good as ips in my opinion. The quantum dot tech really helps here.

The biggest plus for me is the lack of glow or backlight bleed and excellent blacks compared to ips. I play a lot of elite dangerous, so this is crucial for me.
Thanks for the feedback. I've no doubt if I had originally got this monitor over the Acer Xr341 that I'd love it, I'm just not sure if, aside from the 100Hz refresh rate if it's an up, down or side grade compared to what I have already. The blacks and black light been don't really bother me...
