Would you trust Amazon Medication?

Getting off my arse to put a repeat prescription order in and then again a few days later to collect it has the free health benefit of a couple of walks. I won't be using Amazon for this, even though I already have prime. My prescriptions are also medically exempt, so I can't see them making any money off me anyway.

We lost our local butchers and greengrocers years ago. The last bank is closing the branch in the next couple of months: all that will be left are estate agents, hairdressers, charity shops and takeaways.

The graveyard of things these giant companies have thrown money and time at then retired is heaving.

It's lots of money and effort by normal standards but they'll give anything a go.

is the pharmacy market in the UK anywhere near as big as America per person? I wouldn't have thought it was really worth it.

Amazon will be selling cars next, they clearly want to be the only place left in existence that sells everything

I don't trust Amazon SD cards due to stock co-mingling and personally receiving fake cards dispatched and sold by Amazon. Certainly not going to trust meds from them

There's so many online pharmacies in Sweden springing up now all doing prescription to the door and over the counter stuff.

E-commerce has finally caught up. I've only been here 6 years and it's utterly exploded in the past few.

I'm sure it could be up and running here by 2021 end.

Amazon will have a finger in everything soon.
It's so well globally interconnected.

Do they do india yet :p

Are there?

Yes, lots.
More and more of my patients are using them as they get everything delivered for free. It just sadly means the majority of independent pharmacies have closed, or will soon be closing, leaving just brick&mortar chains and the rapidly growing online pharmacy market.

Would be interesting to see how many of them are solely online and how much they actually makes. The biggest one doesn’t seem to make much.

Funnily enough I bought my first ever medication off of Amazon this morning. A tube of jock itch cream delivered same day with prime. Cheaper than Sainsbury’s

The biggest had £80mil revenue, 550k patients and 29% growth. It'll only keep going up.
and that's just the one online pharmacy.
