my current spec is in sig, the PSU is the hiper 880W Type M

theres nothing wrong with my current PSU however it does lack sata connectors

i will be keeping this PC for the next 3 years unless i recieved a huge lump of cash or this one blows up.

but there is always the dont buy a hiper PSU syndrome in my head:(

would you spend another £80+ just to have piece of mind when sleeping at night?

Well Hiper are best known for their reliability. How long have you had that PSU for? If it's been running well for a while, then you might as well keep it and see how it goes. You're nowhere near hitting the limit on it, so if I were you I'd stick with it.

That said, if you have got a spare £80 - £90, you might as well go for a Corsair or something like that. At least they have a fantastic record for reiability.

Chris.

Depends how long u've had the PSU. wouldn't like to keep it for over 3 years let alone another 3 years and would change it the first signs of it going astray.

had it for about a year now guys looking at 750W corsair HX or be quiet or even the PC power and cooling so i can got CF in the future:D and modular for general convienience:D

plus i havent really heard about about issues with 880W type M's failing

a little while ago it was crossfire 4890's and new mobo now it's PSU's. PUT YOUR MONEY AWAY!!! lol :D. As previously said don't fix what's not broke.

but modular!!! would not mae a diff cos i only have to tuck away 2 wires... nvm how are you skip?

however i will save the money :( again:( but something funny happend yday my 15hr primed overclock restarted its self when priming after 5mins:S

nah cba at just on gears banging on everynight:D

however a mosfet coooler like the one on the DFI lan party mobos would be an awesome upgrade

but i do need to have a good listen to check if any components are making funny noises it bugs me:(

you cba? it's not exactly a hard task and you can leave it running whilst playing gears lol that's laziness at it's peak that is. :D Not that i'm any better atm, i've still got to do sort out my comps problems.

I would recommend a OCZ if you are on a tight budget, the Stealth X Streams are very good value for money. Esp the 600w version.
