Simply put, you would trade in 2 consoles with lots of games to play on them for a console that will cost more than the money you'd get for the trade-in, and have very few games to play on it?? Utterly retarded, even for a fanboy, lol.

Please what exactly is fanboyish about my statement. I had a 360 from yesterday ( a long overdue promised gift). I took it to my friend this a.m. and he is keen on ms gaming and he asked me if he can have it for now, i said yes.

I added the above to my statement in relation to the OP question...I really dont see how i come across like one.

In 6 months though it would maybe be a different story. Cos i would still get the cross platform games, and i preffer the Sony exclusives to the xbox ones tbh.

Does it occur to you that I might not have much interest in both even with their games catalouge as big as Argos and littlewoods combined? Yet again, my choice but no one seem to see that.

Ok, only problem is, a lot of the games on the PS3 are on 360 already. You don't seem to see that.

I do and I mentioned it before that if i buy a 360 now, I will have to buy a ps3 when it comes out so i might as well get it now. (which is what i did bought a ps3 instead.)

The question should be, would you trade in your N64 and PS1 for a PS3... then it would depend on what games the PS3 come with!!!

Hell no.

I bought a ps3 but decided I didnt like it even though I didnt play it. I had a minor scratch in my bumper that needed paying for so sold it on for that.

Then this morning I was given a PS3 as a gift. I gave it away. I put it in the works canteen for the first person to take away. Was still sitting on the table when I left at 4.30. Hopefully it will be gone before monday or I may get a written warning for dumping trash at work

well if they did one in white then I might consider getting a PS3 simply as a cheap blu-ray player. I personally don't think this offers anything more than the 360 or the wii.
